The Smile se po dvou letech vrací do Prahy! Hvězdný projekt, který tvoří členové legendárních Radiohead Thom Yorke a Jonny Greenwood společně s Tomem Skinnerem – bubeníkem jazzových Sons of Kemet, přijede 12. 6. 2024 do Fora Karlín.
Na scénu vstoupili v roce 2022 svým debutem A Light for Attracting Attention, po kterém následovaly turné po Evropě a Severní Americe. Album, které žánrově mixovalo prvky rocku, post-punku a elektroniky, bylo kritiky i posluchači přijato velmi pozitivně a objevilo se v mnoha žebříčcích nejlepších nahrávek roku 2022.
Do Prahy přivezou kromě předešlé nahrávky i očekávané druhé album Wall Of Eyes, které vyjde 26. ledna pod labelem XL Recordings. Poutá na něj i videoklip k titulní skladbě z dílny respektovaného amerického režiséra Paula Thomase Andersona.

The Smile returns to Prague after two years! The all-star project, which consists of the members of the legendary Radiohead Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood together with Tom Skinner – the drummer of the jazz band Sons of Kemet, will perform in Forum Karlín on 12th June 2024.They hit the scene in 2022 with their debut A Light for Attracting Attention, followed by tours across Europe and North America. The album, which mixed elements of rock, post-punk and electronica, was received very positively by critics and fans and appeared in many lists of the best recordings of 2022.
In addition to the previous recording, they will bring to Prague their highly anticipated second album Wall Of Eyes, which will be released on January 26 under the XL Recordings label. The music video for the title track was directed by respected American director Paul Thomas Anderson.
